IFCCI CFO Committee Meeting
IFCCI’s CFO Committee organised an interactive committee meeting on 17th January 2024 in Hyderabad.
IFCCI’s CFO Committee organised an interactive committee meeting on 17th January 2024 in Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre. Members based out of Hyderabad joined the Meeting virtually.
Highlights of the Meeting:
-Presentation about the Committee, its past activities and an action plan by Mr. Rajat Roy, Executive Director and Vice President Finance, Accor India and Chairperson, IFCCI CFO Committee.
-Members were informed about the upcoming Union Budget Seminar in early February and the Global CFO Meet in May.
-Presentation on the MFN tax issue by Mr. Charanpreet Singh, India Tax Lead, Sopra Steria.
-Brainstorming and discussion on the focus areas for the Committee for the next few months.
-Members identified MFN tax, green financing , CO2reporting and ESG as core topics of interest and suggested collaborating with the CSR Committee for some of these sessions.
-A possibility of running a short survey with CFOs of French and Indian member companies to build a recommendation document for the concerned govt. authorities was explored.
