IFCCI organised a webinar on "Growth Drivers & Current Technology Trends in Indian Healthcare" in association with Nexdigm on Wednesday, 24th June during the 1st Edition of the Business Booster Forum organised by CCI France International.
Ms. Payal S Kanwar, Director General, IFCCI opened the Session and welcomed the Speakers and Participants.
Mr. Ravi MENON, Senior Business Advisor, APAC Healthcare, Nexdigm shared a presentation of the Healthcare market and the opportunities in this sector in India. Mr. Menon shared the healthcare issues in India that require technology enabled solutions. He also highlighted that HealthTech can improve access among the vast population at an affordable cost. He also stated that the current pandemic Covid-19 has changed the mindset towards quicker and wider adoption of technology.
This was followed by a testimonial from Mr. Charles BILLARD, CFO, Sanofi India. He shared the pharmaceutical business perspective in India and highlighted the initiatives taken up by our government in the Healthcare sector. He also shared his own experiences and the attractiveness India has to offer.
The webinar ended with a testimonial from Mr. Prabhdeep SINGH, CEO and Co-Founder of Stanplus, who spoke about the start-up journey in the health tech space and also shared insights on Indo-French ventures as Stanplus is supported by Kalaari capital and INSEAD Angels.
The session was attended by French companies from this sector and ended with a Q&A Session.
