The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) organized a one of its own kind first-ever Luxury Symposium - an occasion that transcended conventional gatherings, manifesting as a celebration of opulence, innovation, and the harmonious amalgamation of French sophistication and Indian vibrancy, in the presence of Ms. Bénédicte Epinay, CEO – Comité Colbert, France’s official luxury association which represents 93 luxury brands from across the world on her maiden trip to India. The event was held on 29th November at The Leela Palace New Delhi.
Ms. Epinay's return to India after fifteen years was not merely a visit; it encapsulated a poignant adventure. Her insights, spanning from local interactions to acknowledging India's promising market, resonated with the audience. The economic and socio-cultural planets, as eloquently articulated, were aligning for a compelling future.
Under the guidance of leaders such as Payal S. Kanwar, Srimoyi Bhattacharya, Swagata Bottero (Baruah), and Abhijit Patel, the IFCCI Luxury Committee embarked on a mission to redefine India's luxury landscape. The symposium thus marked the commencement of an enthralling journey into the evolution of luxury in India.
The symposium was marked with the presence of H.E. Mr. Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India and renowned personalities such as Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Tarun Tahiliani, Gaurav Gupta Couture, Rahul Mishra, and Ms. Priyadarshini Raje Scindia, The Maharani of Gwalior, Ms. Masoom Minawla, Bambi Kappauf as eminent speakers of the symposium. This notable gathering not only elevated the event domestically but also globally, spotlighting India's ascendancy in the global luxury arena.
The IFCCI Luxury Symposium also hosted many industry leaders from DLF Emporio, Tata CLiQ, Moët Hennessy, Cartier, Christian Dior Couture, Christian Louboutin, Good Earth, Janavi India further adding an extra layer of brilliance, elevating the IFCCI Luxury Symposium to a pinnacle of sophistication and excellence.
The symposium's vibrant atmosphere reached new heights with the exciting announcement of its second edition. This announcement reaffirmed the committee's commitment to a sustained narrative of collaboration, creativity, and excellence in the luxury domain.
