IFCCI Consumer Goods & Services First Committee Meeting 2022-23

IFCCI under the aegis of its Consumer Goods & Services Committee, organized its first interaction with its members on 24th Aug 22, in hybrid format.

Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI), under the aegis of its Consumer Goods & Services Committee, organized its first interaction with its committee members on 24th August 2022, in a hybrid format, in Delhi and Mumbai. Members from other cities joined the meeting virtually. 

Ms. Aarushi Gautam, Assistant Manager - Membership & Events, IFCCI welcomed the new Leadership of the Committee - Chairperson, Mr. Alamjit Singh Sekhon, Commercial Director, Fromageries Bel India and Vice-Chairperson, Mr. Vivek Mani, CEO, Heritage Novandie Foods and presented the initiatives and activities organized by the Committee in the past.

Mr. Alamjit Singh and Mr. Vivek Mani informed the members about the broad focus areas identified by the Committee for this year and invited participants to share their suggestions and understand members’ expectations from the Committee to help design the vision plan and agenda for this year.

Ms. Rishika Roy, Head - Committees & Partnerships, IFCCI moderated the interactive session with members.

Some of the interesting ideas shared by members were:

  • Brand France identity with a group of French consumer brands coming together to share their experiences and case studies
  • Help our members navigate the tough Food and FMCG laws with a Knowledge Session on Food & FMCG laws (Nov’22)
  • A meeting with FSSAI CEO to address members concerns
  • Association with Invest India
  • Joint sessions with other committees, especially logistics and technology committees – a few topics identified were "How sustainable is the future of FMCG supply chain “and a “Trends in Digital Marketing”.
