Hyderabad : Indo-French Industries Meet

IFCCI organised a high-level Indo-French Industries Meet in Hyderabad, showcasing and discussing Indo-French collaborations at the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre on Friday the 22nd June 2018, between 08.15AM to 11.45AM.

Being the first public IFCCI event in Hyderabad, we brought together leading French and Indian companies at the conference to discuss various aspects of doing business in India, converse on the industry at large, current challenges and the scope of collaborative growth and the opportunity that Telangana and India present.

The event began with a brief presentation of IFCCI to the audience, followed by the introduction of the panel members and a brief summary of their respective companies. The panel discussion proceeded towards an informative overview of the respective industrial sectors highlighting specific aspects of a wide array of industries right from Biotechnology, Food, Consumer Packaging, Design, Cement Manufacturing, and Education to Defence & Aerospace. The panel discussion ended with an interactive discussion with the audience.

The panel members at the event included Mr. Deepak NG, Director - Innovative Business & Global Affairs, Dassault Systemes, India; Ms. Maud Le-Bars, International Development, Indian Office, Rennes School of Business; Mr. Mahesh Bhalgat, COO, Shantha Biotechnics (100% owned subsidiary of Sanofi Group); Mr. Laurent Meurette, COO, Kalburgi Cement (100% owned subsidiary of Vicat Group); Mr. Tilak Das, Director - HR, Elior India; Mr. Sumit Das Gupta, Managing Director, Mane India; moderated by Mr. Venkataramana Mantha, CEO, Assystem Technologies India.

The event brought forth 100+ senior executives from the Indo-French business community and concluded with Tea, Coffee and Networking among the participants including the panel members.
