Chennai: The Indo-French Sports Tournament II

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomed a gathering of approximately 130 participants on Saturday, 16th March to compete in a friendly sports tournament.
The Indo-French Sports Tournament II 2019 saw participants across all age categories and from several French companies based in Chennai.
The event focused at bringing companies and members together for a day of casual networking and to engage in several friendly spirited contests.
The event took place throughout the day commencing with the inauguration at 9.30 am. Opening remarks were presented by Mr. Yohann Samuel, Regional Director of IFCCI along with a special address by Ms. Isabelle Clermont, Director of EFIS.
The sports tournament was inaugurated by Mr. S.N Eisenhower, Vice President of IFCCI and Director – Operations, Saint-Gobain Glass India Ltd, Chennai and a special address by Mr. Anandan Jayaram, Head - Corporate Functions Group of Société Générale Chennai who were the Gold Sponsors for the event.

The day ended with the valedictory ceremony and the prize distribution. The event was well received by all and proved to be a fun-filled day for the Indo-French community in Chennai.
