The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI), under the aegis of the Industries Committee and in association with Valeo India, organized a site visit to Amalgamations Valeo Clutch Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai on Thursday, 27th June 2024.
The visit commenced with a presentation by Valeo India, followed by a tour of the manufacturing unit. This tour highlighted how Valeo France leads India's auto component sector with its 5 Axes methodology, ensuring top-tier cost, quality, and delivery through proactive improvements and a 'right first time' approach. The plant excels in quality strategy, total quality management (TQM), supplier integration, the Valeo Production System, and continuous innovation, cementing its status as a preferred supplier for major automotive companies in India.
After the tour, a fireside chat took place with Mr. Arun Sadheesh, Country Director & Associate Partner at TNP India, and Mr. Jayakumar G, Group President and Managing Director of Valeo in India.
