With the enactment of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, India has introduced a transformative regulatory framework governing the collection, processing, storage and sharing of personal data placing stringent compliance obligations on businesses and empowering a new Data Protection Board to enforce penalties. As the final rules under the Act are expected to be notified shortly, the need for clarity and preparedness is critical.

In this context, the session is aimed at equipping business leaders and compliance professionals with practical, business-centric insights on the Act’s key provisions, emerging obligations, and strategic compliance priorities essential to mitigating regulatory and reputational risks.
