The MarCom Club of the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) in association with centdegrés India organized a webinar on ‘The New Era Of Branding’ on 23rd February 2024.

Ms. Rishika Roy, Head – Committees & Partnerships, IFCCI welcomed the participants and the speaker and set the tone for the session. This was followed by the introduction of the Marcom Club Leadership which is spearheaded by Mr. Rajat Abbi, Chairperson, Chief Marketing Officer, Schneider Electric India, and Ms. Nikita Rustagi, VC, Regional Director, centdegrés India. The leaders expressed their appreciation for the initiative taken by the MarCom Club in organizing the session and acknowledged the importance of such forums in keeping professionals abreast of the latest developments in the marketing field and fostering a collaborative environment for learning and sharing knowledge.

The session led by Mr. Naveed Hussain, Design Lead at centdegrés India, highlighted the shift in advertising strategies from traditional one-dimensional approaches to more dynamic and engaging methods. He emphasized the importance of adapting to the fast-paced world and catering to the shortened attention spans of audiences, particularly Generation Z. Motion graphics, virtual reality, and augmented reality were identified as powerful tools for brands to convey their narratives effectively. Mr. Hussain referenced renowned brands like Coca-Cola and Airtel, which successfully rebranded themselves by incorporating AI, virtual reality, and other innovative technologies into their marketing strategies.

For designers, Mr. Hussain advised embracing these technologies to showcase their projects and personal brands in innovative ways, thereby standing out in the marketplace. He stressed that these technologies are not just trends but essential catalysts for fostering innovation and creativity.

The session concluded with a Q&A session moderated by Ms. Anuja Sharma, Manager of Communications at IFCCI, where participants had the opportunity to ask questions and further discuss the topics covered. The event ended with closing remarks and gratitude extended to all participants for their active engagement.
