The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI), under the aegis of the Industries Committee, organized an exclusive site visit to EssilorLuxottica Pvt. Ltd. on Wednesday, 19th February 2025, in Bangalore.
As a global leader in vision care, EssilorLuxottica seamlessly integrates design, manufacturing, distribution, and direct-to-consumer sales, redefining the future of the industry. This immersive visit provided attendees with valuable insights into the Indian optical market, the importance of eye health, and the impactful initiatives of the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation in India.
The visit featured expert-led sessions, including an overview of the Indian Optical Market by Narasimhan Narayanan, President - South Asia, insights into the importance of eye health by Shajan Adolph, Head - Institutions Business, and a presentation on OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation Programs in India by Mahesh KV, Head - OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation. Participants also had the opportunity to explore the factory operations, with a detailed briefing by Manoj Phangotra, Vice President - Operations, followed by an exclusive tour of the factory floor to witness cutting-edge manufacturing processes in action.
The visit concluded with engaging discussions over lunch, providing an excellent opportunity for networking and knowledge sharing among industry peers.
