IFCCI CSR Committee Meet
IFCCI CSR Committee organised a Meeting on 8th January 2024, in a Hybrid format.
Members of the IFCCI CSR Committee met on 8th January 2024 at Servier India, Mumbai to discuss the potential collaborative CSR projects that can be undertaken under the aegis of the IFCCI CSR Department. Members from other cities joined the meeting online.
The Meeting was chaired by Ms. Payal S.Kanwar, Director General, IFCCI, Mr. Anurag Pratap, CSR Leader, Capgemini and Chairperson, IFCCI CSR Committee and Ms. Priyam Dhamankar, Legal and Compliance Director, & Vice-Chairperson, IFCCI CSR Committee.
Key Highlights from the Meeting:
- Ms. Payal S. Kanwar presented IFCCI's CSR Department and the ongoing projects alongwith some of the key activities of the CSR Committee
- CSR Heads from several French companies were a part of the meeting and shared their focus areas of work for this year, some of their key CSR projects alongwith the interest to collaborate with other like-minded member companies on this front.
- Members were of the view that such collaborative projects by French companies will bring in greater level of employee engagement and significant and larger impact on the Indian community and society.
- Some of the important focus areas that were brought up were education, health, environment, sustainability, road safety, plastic waste management, women empowerment and diversity & inclusion empowering the LGBTQ community.
The Committee intends to organise quarterly meetings in different cities and work on an annual publication capturing the intensive CSR work of IFCCI's French member companies.
