IFCCI CEO Committee Lunch
IFCCI under the aegis of its CEO Committee organized the CEO Committee Lunch on 20th September 2023, in Mumbai.

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) organized an exclusive CEO’s Committee lunch for its members from the Western Region on Wednesday, 20th September 2023 in Mumbai. This working lunch took place in the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Jean-Marc Séré-Charlet, Consul General of France in Mumbai, and Special Invitee, Mr. Atul Ruia, Chairman of The Phoenix Mills Ltd.
The session comprised a keynote address by Mr. Vishal Agrawal, Young Leader of the France India Foundation and former Vice President of BlackRock who shared his thoughts on the New India Economy. Some of the points shared by Vishal were on how India now stands at an inflection point with corporates and banks’ balance sheets stronger than ever before and with Indian corporates deleveraging as they generate stronger cash flows.
He also mentioned that Indian consumption has been growing across all categories, especially in luxury and tourism with premiumization leading the way. With a stable government, massive investments in the infrastructure sector, and the push for Make in India yielding the right results to enhance manufacturing, India certainly presents a conducive investment environment for investors.
Another key topic discussed was the role of corporates to enable more women to join the workforce. The session ended with an open discussion and was attended by 21 participants.
