IFCCI in collaboration with IGCC organised an exclusive webinar in discussion with Mr Shailendra Pol, Add’l Labour Commissioner, Govt. of Maharashtra on 22nd April 2020.
IFCCI Director-General, Ms Payal S. Kanwar delivered the opening remarks and spoke about how IFCCI as a chamber is operating and the initiatives taken in the last few weeks. Mr Ravin MIRCHANDANI, Chairman, IFCCI Pune, introduced the add’l labour commissioner and set the tone for the evening.
Mr Shailendra Pol addressed various aspects about the ongoing crisis and mentioned the steps Govt is taking to come out of this situation. He also mentioned various measures being taken by the Labour Commission to support the businesses and support the workers. This was followed by an interactive Q&A.
Close to 110 participants attended with the presence of special guests, Ms Sonia Barbry, Consul General of France in Mumbai and Dr Juergen Morhard, Consul General of Germany in Mumbai who jointly delivered the vote of thanks
