Mumbai : Launch Of IFCCI Industries Committee In Association With NRB Bearings

^{The Indo French of Commerce and Industry in association with the NRB Bearings Ltd launched the Industries Committee on Tuesday, 16th July 2019 - 10:00am at Rabale, New Bombay.}

The meeting began with the Committee Chairperson, Ms.Harshbeena Zaveri (Vice Chairman & Managing Director – NRB Bearings) welcoming the guests. She then gave a brief introduction about NRB Bearings Ltd, its stature today in the industry and where she foresees the company in the years to come. She mentioned that India is 7^th best country in the world for R&D and put more emphasis on Indian talent pool especially in the engineering sector, IT Infrastructure/Demographics &Unbanisations which denoted to be the keycards in this evolving industry. 

Mr. Abhishek  Srivastava, Channel Marketing Manager - INDIA, Dassault Systemes India Pvt Ltd.Then took centre stage to discuss the Future of Indian Manufacturing.He also spoke about the changing paradign of manufacturing strategy and briefed the members on the Organizational benefits of Industrial Revolution 4.0 - Technology, process and people, highlighting the importance of machines operating machines and reducing labor cost thus helping in increased productivity.

The meeting was then followed by a round of introduction from all the industry members and later headed for the factory visit. Post the site visit, at noon, a networking lunch was arranged for the delegation where the members could exchange their ideas and share their opinions.

Ms.HarshbeenaZaveri, requested the members to engage and share their insights and topics that they would like to learn more about to make this committee a success. She mentioned that on a later stage we will make subcommittees and eventually have a larger session bringing all committee members together under one roof. This productive meet was attended by approximately 30 members from the industrial fraternity.
