Mumbai : 41st Annual General Meeting
The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry had organized its 41st Annual General meeting in the presence of Shri. Devendra Fadnavis – Chief Minister of Maharashtraand the Chief Guest and H.E. Mr. Alexandre Ziegler - Ambassador of France to India as the Guest of Honor on on Friday, 21st of September, 2018.
The Meeting commenced with Mr. Guillaume GIRARD-REYDET, President,IFCCI welcoming the members of the Indo-French business community. He also announced the newly elected Governing Council members, confirmation of the Auditors and the proposal to amend Articles of Association (as per Companies Act 2013). The financial report of 2017 – 18 was also discussed during this time.
Post hi-tea and networking Mr. Alexandre Ziegler - Ambassador of France to India addressed the members and thanked the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, for his attention to and interest in French investments into Maharashtra. He also mentioned that “approximately 500 French companies established in India; a continuous flow of new investments that continues to place us among the top countries in terms of FDI; more than 350,000 workers employed in our companies in almost all sectors of activity.”
We also had the Chief Minister to made a special mentioned about IFCCI being is a very strong chamber of about 500+ members. He also ceased the opportunity to speak about the Indo-French investment Conclave that is scheduled to be organized by IFCCI on the 2nd of November 2018 in Nagpur. We concluded the event by thanking everyone for being part of the AGM and thanking our sponsors which was then was followed by a Networking dinner at the Jyranin Sofitel.
