Indo-French Business Awards 2021

IFCCI in association with Business France India organised the third Edition of the prestigious Indo French Business Awards 2021 and VIE Grand Prix.

Following the success of the maiden and second editions in October 2018 & November 2019 respectively, The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) in association with Business France India organised the third Edition of the prestigious 'Indo French Business Awards 2021 and VIE Grand Prix' under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Lenain, Ambassador of France to India on Wednesday, 24th March’21 at The Leela Palace, New Delhi 2021.

The Indo French Business Awards aim at felicitating the excellence of Indian and French companies who play a vital role in the bilateral trade between India & France. The objective of this event is to create a platform to recognize the performance of IFCCI’s member companies i.e. French companies operating in India as well as Indian companies trading with French companies in India or France. The evening also saw the felicitation of young and high performing French professionals through the VIE Awards ceremony.

For the year 2021, The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) opened nominations for 14 Award  for which 120 nominations were received Pan India.

The evening commenced with an opening remark by Mr. Emmanuel de Roquefeuil, Vice-President, IFCCI. Subsequently, H.E. Mr Emmanuel Lenain, Ambassador of France to India delivered his welcome address and shared his views on the exceptional Indo-French relationship and H.E Mr. Jawed Ashraf, Ambassador of India to the Republic of France and Principality of Monaco delivered his special address by a video message.

Thereafter our Chief Guest, Honorable Minister for Road, Transport and Highways and MSME, Shri Nitin Gadkari was welcomed on the stage for his special address and shared his insights on the current scenario of India’s roads and transportation and presented the commendable projects delivered by the government of India.

Post this, Ms. Payal S. Kanwar, Director General, IFCCI addressed the audience on this year's award categories and the high volume of nominations received. She extended her acknowledgment to the jury members who helped in the decision making.

This was followed by the award ceremony wherein the awards were personally presented by Hon'ble Minister, Shri. Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport & Highways & MSME, Government of India, H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Lenain, Ambassador of France to India; Mr. Emmanuel de Roquefeuil, Vice-President, IFCC and Ms Payal S. Kanwar, Director General, IFCCI.

  • Choose France - Best Indian Investment in France (Large Enterprise) - HCL Technologies
  • Resilience in Business during COVID-19 - Alstom India, EDF Group & Accor India & South Asia
  • Diversity and Inclusion Practice of the Year - Societe Generale Global Solutions Centre, India
  • Jury Special - for exemplary performance during Covid19- AIR FRANCE-KLM & Air Liquide Medical Systems, India

The Indo-French Business awards were followed by the VIE Awards.

The evening concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Rishika Roy, Head – Committees & Events (North),IFCCI.
