IFCCI : CSR Conclave & Awards, 2021

IFCCI organised the third edition of the IFCCI CSR Conclave and Awards this week in the presence of H.E. Mr Emmanuel Lenain, Ambassador of France to India and Honorable Minister for Women and Child Development, Mrs Smriti Irani. 

60 CSR heads of Indo-French companies attended the conclave and CSR projects of top French companies in India were recognised and showcased at the Conclave. 

This year’s edition was special because of the French Solidarity Mission that was conducted as a part of France’s response to the second wave of the pandemic in India earlier this year. 

For IFCCI, this event was an opportunity to thank all the 50+ companies and the French Embassy, IFCCI, Business France India and CCE Inde - French Foreign Trade Advisors teams that contributed to this mission where we raised 6.1 million euros and brought in 29 oxygen generating plants from France which were deployed in Indian hospitals across the country. Each plant caters to 250 bed hospitals and all run for the next 10-15 years thereby reinforcing India’s health infrastructure.

Apart from that, the afternoon saw some engaging sessions such as a CEO panel on ‘Cross Collaboration in CSR’ with Ipsita Das from Moet Hennessy, Deepak N G from Dassault Systèmes, Ashish Saraf from Thales India, Ashwin Yardifrom Capgemini and moderated by Shankar Ramkrishnanfrom BNP Paribas. There was a talk on skilling in #CSR by Girish Singhania from EduBridge and last but not least, the awards ceremony.
