IFCCI organised its first HR Committee meeting for the FY 2020-2021 on 22nd September 2020 under the new leadership of Shrikant Lonikar, Pernod Ricard India, Pallavi Tyagi, Capgemini and Nirooban Rupathevan, BNP Paribas GSO.
Ms. Sapna Verma, IFCCI, welcomed the participants and introduced the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the IFCCI HR Committee. Shrikant Lonikar then shared the introductory remarks and the vision of the HR Committee for the year ahead. Nirooban Rupathevan shared the activity calendar for the coming months. Pallavi Tyagi set the context for the discussion and introduced the speaker of the session, Ms. Namita Bharadwaj, Mercer.
Namita shared a presentation on "Navigating through Compensation and Benefits Decisions in Covid-19 world". She discussed various trends in salary increase, bonus and incentive payouts for this year and also for the coming year. She shared guidance on the right approach to C&B decisions and how economics & empathy together will be key to overcoming this pandemic in a strong way!
The meeting concluded with a brief Q&A session and a vote of thanks. The meeting was attended by 30 HR heads of our member companies.
