Bangalore : Roundtable on "Director's Responsibilities & Liabilities"

On Thursday, 28th March 2019, the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) organised a roundtable discussion on “Director’s Responsibilities & Liabilities” in Bengaluru.
The discussion was led by Mr. Viswanadh Kuchi (Practising Chartered Accountant), Mr. Sundar Narayanan (Director - Forensics, SKP Business Consulting LLP) and Mr. Atul Gupta (Partner - Labour and Employment, Trilegal).
The roundtable focused on the key duties and the role of the board of directors that includes; common issues and ways to tackle them, possible measures to be adopted during conflict of interest, dealing with corruption and bribery, internal and external challenges to an organization and legislations put in place by the government with respect to the Company’s Act, POSH and various other issues of Corporate Governance.
The event was highly appreciated as it was very informative and interactive and also witnessed an active participation of CxO’s representing Indian & French Companies which concluded with a networking session.
