Raviraj Rodrigues heads the Supply Chain Function of Alstom Transport in India.

A graduate in Mechanical Engineering and a Post Graduate in Supply Chain Management from the Shailesh J Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay, he is passionate about integrating Technology in Supply Chain and been instrumental in driving change through technology in all his engagements.

As a seasoned professional, he has over 20 years of core supply chain experience across 5 industry verticals viz. Automotive, Engineering, Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Fashion & Life style. He has been associated with leading brands like Mahindra, Cadbury, 3M, Britannia, Wildcraft and Alstom. His key specialties are Supply Planning, Logistics and Transportation.

He has been tasked with leading the Supply Chain initiatives  across all Alstom operations in India, and aims to build within the next 2 years, a robust Supply Chain network aligned to the company’s growth plans for India.

Alstom is one of the leading players in providing Sustainable Mobility solutions globally, with a turnover of € 7.5 bn. In India, Alstom provides solutions in the Mainline and Metro transportation business, and has till date built the Chennai, Lucknow and Kochi Metros. It has also bagged the contract to build Electric Locomotives for the dedicated High-Speed Freight corridor planned in the country. 

Alstom India’s Sricity plant has been designated as the Manufacturing Centre of Metro Cars for the Global Alstom market.
