Webinar on "Recent Trends in White Collar Crime including Cyber Crimes"
IFCCI was pleased to organise a webinar with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas on "Recent Trends in White Collar Crime including Cyber Crimes" on 18th August
The meeting started with a quick introduction of the topic and speaker by Mr. Bruno Bronquard, Regional Director, IFCCI.
Mr Ankoosh Mehta, Partner, Dispute Resolution, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas commenced the session by briefly introducing the White Collar Crimes and Cyber Crimes. He emphasized on the Applicable Laws that are more important and one oughts to be mindful in this digital era.

Mr. Mehta through his legal expertise explained White Collar Crime from a cross-border perspective. He illustrated the facts like companies seem to be at the receiving end of increased scrutiny from investigative agencies. We have also witnessed regulatory changes in the legal landscape governing white-collar crimes in India where companies are required to adhere to the applicable statutory laws and reporting requirements, especially concerning certain white-collar crimes (i.e., bribery, corruption, fraud, etc) committed by their employees, officers, agents, and third parties as also #cybercrime incidents. In this session, we aim to provide a brief overview of the recent trends observed in the White Collar and Cyber Crimes Sphere and the regulatory and reporting mechanisms that companies ought to be mindful of when dealing with such incidents.
