The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI), under its series - 'Meet the new CEO', conducted a Fireside Chat with Mr. Jean Touboul, the new Managing Director-Designate, Pernod Ricard, on 3rd July 2023 at the Oberoi, Gurgaon.
The event commenced with networking amongst the participants over welcome drinks. The highlight of the event was the fireside chat between Ms. Payal S.Kanwar, Director General, IFCCI and Mr. Jean Touboul, the new Managing Director-Designate, Pernod Ricard.
Ms. Payal S. Kanwar sought Mr. Touboul's views on India as a dynamic market, the company's future investment plans in the country, hiring and retention practices, and the importance of CSR and ESG in the company's operations. Mr. Touboul talked about the company's vision and their perception of India as the land of vast opportunities. He also shared some of the strategies on building working partnerships with different states and his passion around CSR and ESG commitments.
The open house interactive session with members helped the guests to understand Pernod Ricard’s strategy for the upcoming months and his views on regulatory practices in India.
This was followed by a networking cocktail dinner, hosted by Pernod Ricard. The event was attended by over 35 CEOs and CXOs of French and Indian companies.
