IFCCI Webinar on Indo-French Smart Urbanization - Empowering the Future of Urban Living
The Energy & Utilities and Mobility Committees of the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) jointly organised an interactive session on 'Indo-French Smart Urbanization - Empowering the Future of Urban Living' on 9th July.
The Session commenced with a welcome by Ms. Aarushi Gautam, Manager – Committees & Events (North) at IFCCI, followed by Introductory Remarks by Mr. Syed Junaid Altaf, Group Executive Director, FIL Industries and Chairperson, IFCCI Mobility Committee. In his address, Mr. Altaf highlighted the potential of the Indian urban market and the opportunities for smart developments.
The Panel Discussion, moderated by Mr. Gautam Chabra, Partner (Energy and Infrastructure) at Trilegal, featured industry leaders - Mr. B Sivakumar, Director and CEO of Citelum India; Mr. Benoit Lecuyer, CEO of Prysmian & ACPL; and Mr. Ramakrishnan Ramanathan, Vice President, Renault Group and Vice Chairperson, IFCCI Mobility Committee, who shared their insights on:
- Integrating smart mobility technology in urban planning
- leveraging Indo-French expertise to create efficient urban spaces
- transforming urban mobility with EV stations, smart cables and energy-efficient building designs
- smart city planning with advanced technologies like smart grids, smart meters for consumption segregation, intelligent transportation, IoT infrastructure, and data analytics
- the role of sustainability in urban living and fostering sustainable practices and much more
The event concluded with a Q&A session and closing remarks by Mr. Nakul Dalwala, Assistant Manager - Events & Membership at IFCCI and SPOC for the IFCCI Energy & Utilities Committee.
