The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) successfully organized a knowledge-driven seminar on “Data Security Essentials” on Thursday, 29th May 2025.
The event brought together industry leaders, cybersecurity experts, and legal specialists to explore the evolving landscape of data protection, especially in light of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) and the disruptive impact of Generative AI.

Moderated by Rajesh Desai, CEO & MD, Lyra Network Asia, this thought-provoking session featured Yashowardhan Sowale, VP – Insights & Data, Capgemini & Manoj Bhat, Senior Director – IT, Asia Pacific, Dassault Systemes Global Services.
The panellists reflected on how Generative AI is redefining data usage, and the need for proactive frameworks to ensure data privacy while enabling innovation.
