The Indo French Chamber of Commerce organised the third edition of its flagship event, the HR Conclave and Awards 3.0 on 18th April 2023, at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi which brought together nearly 80 guests comprising of CHROs / HR Heads, Business Leaders and recent French graduates from the Indo-French community.
After the highly acclaimed past two events, this year's edition focused on the emerging topic in Human Resources: Charting a New People Journey, followed by the distinguished IFCCI HR Awards. Ms. Rishika Roy, Head - Committees & Partnerships, IFCCI shared the introductory remarks and launched the HR E-booklet comprising of valuable insights from our distinguished members. Our esteemed speakers, Mr. Laurent Ladroyes, Chairperson IFCCI HR Committee FY 22-23 and Personnel Director – India, Michelin, welcomed the distinguished guests and Ms. Aarti Srivastava, CHRO India, Capgemini introduced the topic with her theme presentation and set the event in motion. Further, Mr. Eric Fajole, French Trade Commissioner, Embassy of France in India and Head Business France South Asia shared his remarks on the VIE programme: an HR Turnkey solution for a Company’s development in India.
Our esteemed panellists from diverse industries conducted insightful discussions on the new evolved workplace, with multi-generational workforce and the evolved challenges for the People Function in an organisation. The first panel discussion focused on the topic of 'Developing New Age Leaders', which was moderated by Ms. Shalini Nair Kumar, Head – P&C, India and APAC, Amadeus Labs India & Vice Chairperson, IFCCI HR Committee who was in conversation with Mr. Ashley Fernandes, Country Head, emlyon business school, Ms. Natasha Singh, HR Director, Sopra Banking Software and Ms. Suvarna Mishra, CHRO, Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services India.
This was followed by the crisp fireside chat on the topic 'People Analytics and its Influence on Employee Journey'. The session was moderated by Mr. Srikant Lonikar, Convenor IFCCI HR Conclave and Awards, Former Chairperson, IFCCI HR Committee & Partner, PPJS Solutions. Ms. Renu Rohtagi, HR Director, Air Liquide India, and Ms. Seema Ahluwalia, Executive Director – HR & IT, Sonepar joined as panellists.
The discussions were followed by the distinguished IFCCI HR Awards. IFCCI received nearly 30 nominations from member companies across three categories, Best Diversity & Inclusion Initiative, Best Employee Wellness and Wellbeing initiative and the Best CHRO/HR Head. The following emerged as winners:-
- Best Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives: Capgemini
- Best Employee Wellness and Wellbeing Initiatives: Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd.
- Best CHRO/HR Head: Ms. Suvarna Mishra, CHRO, Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services
- Jury Special Award: Michelin India Private Limited
The event culminated with the networking Hi-Tea. The Conclave received high appreciation from all the guests and members.
