IFCCI successfully organized the 2nd edition of the Indo-French Health & Life Sciences Seminar on 14th November 2024 at Hyatt Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) successfully organized the second edition of the Indo-French Health & Life Sciences Seminar on 14th November 2024 at Hyatt Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The event witnessed the participation of over 100 leaders from the Health and Life Sciences sector, marking another milestone in Indo-French collaboration.
The seminar commenced with a lively networking breakfast, setting the stage for meaningful interactions. This was followed by opening remarks by Mr. Priyank Prakash, Senior Manager – Advocacy & Content, IFCCI, and a special address by Mr. Pascal LOREAU, Head of Bureau de France Hyderabad, French Embassy in India / Ambassade de France en Inde.

Key topics included the role of AI, digital health solutions, and French expertise in driving innovation, boosting local manufacturing, and advancing skill development. The need for collaborative task forces to improve healthcare delivery and strengthen the Indo-French partnership was also emphasized.

Moderated by Ms. Charul Yadav, Partner at Obhan & Associates, the discussion focused on emerging health-tech trends like generative AI, robotics, and precision medicine. While these advancements are transforming the industry, challenges such as regulatory delays and funding gaps for startups were highlighted. The panel emphasized the need for government-driven growth in medical technology and IT to unlock India's health-tech potential and scale innovations.
The seminar concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Nakul D., Assistant Manager – Events & Membership, IFCCI, who celebrated the event as a landmark moment for IFCCI. He expressed optimism about the future of Indo-French partnerships in addressing global health challenges and driving sustainable industry growth.
