IFCCI Defence & Aerospace First Committee Meeting FY 2022

IFCCI organised the first meeting of 2022, of the IFCCI Defence & Aerospace Committee on Friday 28th January 2022.  The session was led by the lead the leadership of the committee which include:  

• Mr. Ashish Saraf, VP and Country Director India - Thales | Chairman of IFCCI D&A Committee 

• Mr. Pierre Dickeli, CEO - Safran India | Vice-Chairman IFCCI D&A Committee 

• Mr. Kunal Bajaj, CEO - Aerospace, Defence and Security - Motherson | Vice-Chairman IFCCI D&A Committee 

The agenda of this closed door meeting was for everyone to introduce themselves and their respective companies as well as welcoming new members to the committee.  

We also invited each of the 25 participants to present their main suggestions and expectations from the D&A Committee for this year.   

Many common themes were suggested including the following: to organise advocacy led initiatives; facilitating partner search; sustainability; training; inviting key stakeholders and decision makers to our committee sessions; ease of doing business; All of these align with the objectives that the D&A Committee has set when the new leadership was formed a few months ago.  

The session was concluded with final remarks by the Chairman of our committee, Mr. Ashish Saraf.
