IFCCI in association with High Environmental & Social Impact India organized a playful and collaborative Climate Fresk workshop for its employees and member companies in the Mumbai Office on 20th October, Friday.
The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Julien Banaszuk, senior facilitator and the country coordinator for Climate Fresk India. It was an engaging workshop as it enabled the participants to deliberate on the causes and consequences of climate change through a 42-card game. It was a refreshing way to understand the impact of Human activity on our climate ecosystem and to draw links between ecological impact seen around us. Then, a brief presentation was delivered to understand with the help of facts and statistics the carbon footprint contributed by various industries in India.
The workshop concluded with an action-oriented plan with each team presenting on-ground initiates that can be made to mitigate climate change risk and move forward in achieving net-zero carbon emissions.
