Business Roundtable on 'Doing Business in India - Mitigating Business Risks and Effective Dispute Resolutions'
IFCCI with the support of MEDEF International & Embassy of India organised a successful Business Roundtable on Doing Business in India, in Paris.
The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) organised a successful Business Roundtable in Paris on Friday, with the support of MEDEF International and the Embassy of India in Paris on Doing Business in India - Mitigating Business Risks and Effective Dispute Resolutions.
The highly distinguished event saw two high-level discussions on 'Culture & Business Risks and Diligence' bringing together important feedback on how to enhance business prospects and promote best practices across the 'Doing business in India journey' while establishing or expanding as a successful French company in India.
The event commenced with welcome remarks from Mr. Gérard Wolf, Chairman of the Sustainable City Task Force of MEDEF International; a keynote address by Mr. Naveen Kumar, Counsellor (Economic & Commercial) and Head of the Wing, Embassy of India in Paris who spoke about the positive outlook of the Indian Government towards FDI and ease of other regulations to attract business opportunities into India, followed by an opening address by Ms. Rishika Roy, Head - Committees & Partnerships
IFCCI.
Mr. Gérard Wolf who has a rich and longstanding experience and understanding of the Indian market, suggested companies hire young talent and nurture them in order to attract innovation as, according to him 'Innovation is in the DNA of the Indian market'
Key learnings from the event:
-As people are an organisation's asset, companies should focus more and more on sharing, caring and learning together and find purpose and value in their professional growth journey.
-Finding the right partner is vital: Having a critical thinking analysis is important in decision making; it is vital to reinforce the right procedures, checklists, invest in finding the right partners for due diligence and background checks to navigate the dense investment regulatory systems. Perseverance is the key to growth and the right strategy.
