Pune: French Animation Film Festival Will Be Held In October

To commemorate the Festival of Animated Cinema in France, the Alliance Française de Pune, in association with French Institute India, National Film Archive of India NFAI and Dario's Trattoria, is organising the "French Animation Film Festival" this October with screenings of French films.

The French films will be shown with English subtitles so that people who do not understand the language can also enjoy the movies. The movies will be shown in two venues namely, Dario's Trattoria at Kalyani Nagar and National Film Archives of India. While the screening at NFAI will be free of cost, the screening at Dario's Trattoria will have Rs 250 as cover charge. Prior reservation may be required at Dario's Trattoria.

These are the list of films which will be screened at Dario's Trattoria at 8pm. Le Chat Du Rabbin will be screened on Wednesday, October 3, Adama (2015), will be screened on Wednesday, October 10, Special Short Film Selection will be screened on Wednesday, October 17; Louise En Hiver or Louise will be screened on Wednesday, October 24; Le Roi Et L'oiseau will be screened on October 31.

The movies at NFAI will be screened free of cost and here is the list of movies; Short Films will be screened on October 12 at 6pm; Neige Et Les Arbres Magiques will be screened on October 12 at 7pm; Le Pere Frimas, will be screened on October 12 at8 PM; Special Short Film Selection will be screened on October 13 at 2pm; Gus, Petit Oiseau, will be screened on October 13 at 2:30 pm; Le Tableau will be screened on October 13 at 4:15 pm.
