Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) in partnership with Genopole organised a Seminar on Opportunities and Challenges in the Indian Biotechnology Industry on Tuesday, 24th September 2019 at Genopole Campus, Évry, France.

The Seminar commenced with Opening Remarks by Ms. Anne Jouvenceau-Bester, Deputy Director, Genopole. The partners for the event were SKP Business Consulting LLP and Lexindia. Mr. Harshal Choudhary, Senior Manager Business Advisory, SKP Group and Dr. Ramani Raju, Partner at LexOrbis shared their insights on Indian Biotech industry with a focus on IPR and patents. This was followed by a panel discussion with Ms. Caroleen Polge-Mehta and Mr. Bharat Mehta, Co-Founders at PharmaCompass.com, Mr. Vignesh Janakiraman, Chief Technology Officer of Algobiotech, and Mr. M. Eric Bourgeois, CEO, Gilbert Jain Laboratory, Joint-Venture of Laboratoires Gilbert in India.

Ms. Inès Farsi, Health Sector, Business France, spoke on opportunities for French companies in India. Ms. Payal S. Kanwar, Director General, IFCCI delivered the vote of thanks on the occasion.

The Seminar ended with interactive B2B Meetings.
