IFCCI organized its Annual Union Budget Seminar 2020 on Wednesday, 05 February 2020 with the support of the Embassy of France, New Delhi. The objective of the Session was to facilitate in-depth interaction on various announcements and implications of the recently announced Budget for 2020. 

Mr. Patrick Pillon, Regional Financial Counsellor for South Asia – Economic and Financial Department, Embassy of France in India commenced the seminar with a Special Address and shared his insights on the Macro Economic view around the budget. 

The key highlights of the Budget were presented Mr. Pankaj Walia, Partner, Mazars providing valuable insights into the major announcements of Union Budget 2020. The Session comprised of a Panel Discussion focussing on decoding the Union Budget 2020 and deliberating on the budget proposals and new policy initiatives of the Government. Mr. Pankaj Walia, Partner, Mazars moderated the Panel Discussion along with other Panelists Mr. Sunandan Chaudhuri, Assistant General Manager - Markets Group, ICICI Bank Ltd., Mr. Karmeshu Aggarwal, CFO, Safran India and Mr. Abhishek Ashok, Head – Taxation (Direct & Indirect), Audit, F&A, InterGlobe Hotels. 

Ms. Rishika Roy, Head - Committees & Events (North) IFCCI, concluded the Seminar with a vote of thanks.

The event was supported by Mazars India as Knowledge Partner and ICICI Bank as Banking Partner.
