IFCCI's Consumer Goods & Services Committee (CG&S)  in association with Moët Hennessy organised a visit to Chandon India Winery on Friday, 10th May 2019 in Nashik, Maharashtra.

Chandon’s 21-acre winery boasts of a state-of-the-art production facility to create both variants of Chandon: Chandon Brut and Chandon Rosé. The sparkling wine that is being produced here since 2014, is created by a team of international and local wine-makers and viticulturists, closely working with grape growers from the Nashik region. The wines are crafted by combining the finest local grapes with centuries-old ‘méthode traditionnelle’ technique to produce these Chandon sparkling wines.

Some of the key highlights of the visit included:

  • Welcome Drink - 'My Chandon'
  • Session on Chandon's History and it's Founder
  • A walk through the expansive Estate
  • Wine Tasting Session in a classroom set-up about Brut, Rosé & Delice
  • Visit to the vineyard, the storage & packaging facility
  • Networking Lunch

This visit was an exclusive event organised by IFCCI for the members of Consumer Goods & Services (CG&S) and Retail Committee.
