The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with SKP Group organized a webinar on the Post Budget Analysis which was held on 5thJuly 2019 in Mumbai.
The webinar highlighted the key points, presented by the newly appointed Finance Minister, Ms.NirmalaSitharaman who presented her maiden budget with a roadmap for a new India as a plan to turn India into a five-trillion-dollar economy. Among other key announcements to boost infrastructure and FDI, the budget focused on bringing about several transformational economic reforms.
Reiterating the ten points of the vision for the decade as envisaged in the Interim Budget, the tax reforms announced were primarily aimed at stimulating growth and promoting digitization and transparency, while simultaneously simplifying tax administration.
The tax specialists from SKP Groupshared the analysis on Direct and Indirect tax proposals while discussing the key announcements of the Budget 2019. Moreover, it was a swift run through the newly designed Budget which was then followed by a Q-A round. We are glad to be a part of this evolving economy that will put India on a trajectory of growth and development.
In conclusion, it was quite an instructive and educative event which illustrated the factual financial plan. Being eco-savvy by nature in the industry, our members made this event a productive one.
