Mumbai : 2nd Meeting - Industries Committee

General points discussed:
- Proposal to review the companies list again
- To verify if Industries committee can be an umbrella committee to sub-committees
- Members to share their expertise in corporate growth
- Information on key factors driving the economy

Challenges:
- Land, licenses,
- Slow pace of growth rate and difficulty in conducting business in the recent past
Assistance Required:
- Lobbying – framing policies to favour French presence in India
- Update on policy changes in the country
- Receive information on investment coming into India to enable understand the market better.

Suggestions:
- Conducting drives with other associations such as CII, Assocham, FICCI etc.
- Engage more companies
- More networking and theme based meetings (lean manufacturing, Data protection, Privacy Law)

Action Plan:
- Review members of the committee
- Krishnomics Legal – As knowledge partner of the industries committee has proposed to share a
monthly newsletter with updates for the industry.
- Next meeting to be held in Chennai on 12th December.
