MAZARS University ‘INDIA PARTNERSHIP JOURNEY’ TheNextMBA

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) was delighted to partner with Mazars University to organize an afternoon business session for executive MBA students of TheNextMBA who were in New Delhi as a part of their program.
The session comprised presentations by Eric FAJOLE, Trade Commissioner and Director, Business France India. He gave an overview of the strong trade and business relations between France and India as well as opportunities for new companies entering the market.
Ms. Varda Taneja, Vice President, Invest India presented the ‘India Opportunity’ and India’s record performance in terms of economic growth and development over the last many years.
Next, a case study was presented by Mr. Rajiv Mitra, MD of Prabhat Dairy (Lactalis Group), who talked about their journey operating in the #dairy sector in India. He spoke about the challenges, opportunities, and vision for growth.
Next, a panel discussion was moderated by Ms. Payal S. Kanwar, Director General, IFCCI with Mr. Matthew Foxton, India Regional President, IDEMIA, and Mr. Jean-Marc Leclercq, Managing Director, Soufflet Group about their journey as leaders of successful French companies operating in India. They talked about the practical aspects of doing business in India, as well as their company strategies for long-term growth, they also gave advice to new companies looking at entering the market.
The TheNextMBA professionals included senior leadership across the globe from L'Oréal, Vivendi Havas, ManpowerGroup, & Saint-Gobain.
A vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Unnikrishnan AR, Managing Director, Saint-Gobain India Private Limited - Glass Business.
The session ended with a cocktail evening with some CXOs of IFCCI’s member community.
