IFCCI launches its 5th chapter in Hyderabad
The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) launched its 5th chapter in Hyderabad at T-Hub 2.0 on 29 September, Hyderabad
On the 29th of September 2022, the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) launched its fifth and newest chapter in Hyderabad at T-Hub.
The launch was conducted in the presence of Mr. Thierry Berthelot, Consul General of France in Bengaluru; Mr. Sumeet Anand, President of IFCCI and Founder of Indsight Growth Partners, Ms. Payal S Kanwar, Director General of IFCCI; and Mr. Gerard Wolf, Chairman BRICS Access and Chairman of the Sustainability Task Force, MEDEF International (the most significant business confederation in France) and Mr. Paul Hermelin, Special Representative of the French Government for Economic Relations with India and Chairman of the Board of Capgemini.
An MoU between IFCCI and T-Hub was signed in the presence of H.E Mr. Emmanuel Lenain, Ambassador of France to India, Mr. KT Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister of IT, I&C, MA and UD, Govt. of Telangana State and signed by Mr. Sumeet Anand, President of IFCCI and Founder, Indsight Growth Partners and Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary I&C and IT, Govt. of Telangana State along with Panneerselvam Madanagopal, Chief Innovation Officer of T-Hub. The aim of this one-year agreement is to collaborate on events and workshops to promote Indo-French partnerships in the technology and innovation sectors to bridge the gap between the French and Indian startup ecosystems.
On this occasion, Mr. Sumeet Anand, President, IFCCI said, “IFCCI’s new chapter in Hyderabad is to support growing French investments in Hyderabad given the strong support of the Govt of Telengana. This is driven by 3+1 attractive reasons: market with scale, talent for India and the world; supply chain in increasing products and now sustainable solutions for the planet!”
And Ms. Payal S. Kanwar, Director General, IFCCI said, “We are delighted to see the growing French presence in Hyderabad across sectors like defence and aerospace, energy, technology, food processing, etc. Today’s inauguration is an important step in promoting the strong potential this city has to offer and for building a strong Indo-French ecosystem”
This event welcomed 130+ participants from the Indo-French business community and was followed by a business networking cocktail.
