IFCCI HR Committee conducted a first of its kind Multi-City Breakfast Networking Session across the key locations of Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, and Hyderabad on 27^th September 2023. The event brought together the members of our HR Committee for a networking session and to deliberate on the agendas for the upcoming year, the underlying theme being – ‘Reinventing HR – HR as a True Business Partner’. The HR Committee leadership for FY 23-24 was introduced and the roadmap for the upcoming year was discussed. We were joined by more than 40 HR Leaders across the six cities, and we connected via video conference for a cohesive and smooth session.

Some of the key topics of discussion were as follows: sharing of Best Practices, creating an environment for employee retention, policies for Expat employees, addressing legal HR & employment issues, reduction of Carbon footprint, attracting the GenZ workforce and how HR can emerge as a true Business Partner and make place to the boardroom.

‘HR for HR’ came up as a trending theme with a focus to use the IFCCI platform and network with the HR heads belonging to different industries.

We thank Mr. Benoit Renard, MD, Airliquide India and Mr. Anish Sarkar, CEO, Sodexo for joining the session in Delhi and Mumbai and sharing their remarks.

Mr. Atul Gupta, Partner, Trilegal lead the discussion for the ‘Ask the Expert’ session to understand the topics of interest in the domain of legal HR & employment issues faced by HR heads.
