The Indo French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) conducted a workshop on Cross-border Regulatory, Compliance, Taxation on the 7th of November at Hotel Novotel Chamiers road, Chennai. With DBS Bank as the event sponsor and Ms Sudha G. Bhushan, Founder director of Taxpert Professionals Pvt Ltd., who is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Insolvency Resolution professional and Registered valuer was our keynote speaker for the day.

The session was commenced with the opening remarks by Mr Joel Verany, Vice President Sales and Network Development Citroen and Vice President IFCCI Chennai.

Followed by a welcome address by Ms Catherine Suard, Consul General of France in Chennai and Puducherry.

Our speaker for the day Ms. Sudha G. Bhushan addressed the gathering and spoke about the India-France perspective of Cross-border Regulatory, Compliance and Taxation focussing on France entry for Indian companies and Indian entry for French companies and explained in detail the following

 > Trade and relationship between India and France

 >Smart approach w.r.t allowability, vulnerability, accountability and explainability

 >Tax and Regulatory aspects of cross border transactions with respect to India and France

 >Things to take care of - Agreements, Registrations, Employees and Entity

 >Trade and Investment relations, Trade balance and Foreign Direct Investment.

Subsequently followed by an engaging Q&A session with the speaker The vote of thanks was delivered by IFCCI, wherein IFCCI Chennai’s future events were briefed to the 27 companies present, our event sponsor DBS Bank and our knowledge partner Taxpert Professionals Pvt Ltd, were thanked. The workshop was concluded after a networking session with the delegates
