Bangalore : MSME Innovation Summit With Summentor Pro 2018

Summentor-Pro Business Consultants in partnership with IFCCI, held a day-long conference on discussions pertinent to MSME’s in India titled ‘MSME Innovation Summit’ on the 23rd of February 2018 at the Lalit Ashok Hotel, Bengaluru.

The summit, hailed as the mega initiative for the Indian MSME Sector & supported by the government of Karnataka and MSME Development Forum, focused on generating knowledge & business leads for the delegates.

After a brief address from Shri Rajender Kumar Kataria, Secretary to Government Commerce & Industries Govt of Karnataka, the event progressed to the first panel discussion on ‘SWOT Analysis of Indian MSMEs’. Panelists included Mr Rajnish Goenka– Chairman, MSME Development Forum, Dr C.S.Arora - Former Senior Consultant MHRD/NMEICT and Assessor, NABET/QCI and Dr.Vijay Aggarwal – M.D CAHO, who were able to share their perspective on the opportunities and challenges to simplify credit towards MSME, viable credit facilitators and the overall future of the sector.

The second panel discussion, with speakers Mr. Mohan – Founder & Director Cache Technologies & Communications, Mr. Dilip Vamanan - Senior IT executive – Seller Prime, Mr. Sukirti Panigrahi – CEO DIGIBY, analyzed Ecommerce in the context of MSMEs in India. The presenters explored competitive solutions and innovative technologies to gain a fair market, after which the panel answered questions from the audience.

This was followed by a showcase of innovative technologies by Start-Ups and MSMEs from a variety of fields, including Manufacturing, Healthcare, Hospitality/Tourism, Technology, Banking/Fintech, Retail, Construction and Clean Energy, among others. The evening concluded with B2B meetings, which gave the entrepreneurs and companies present at the event an opportunity to interact, network and potentially collaborate in the future.
