Bangalore : Decoding The Karnataka State Elections 2018

As the nation gears up for what will be one of the most important and determining state elections ahead of the 2019 General Elections, the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) brought together an esteemed panel of some of the finest political experts and analysts for an interactive session to help its members understand the implications and outcomes of this election.

This event was held at the Consulat général de France à Bangalore in the presence of Mr. François Gautier, Consul General of France in Bangalore.

The discussion captured a background to the diverse cultural background of the State and its implications on the upcoming elections, priorities of each major political party, business practices in the state and the impact on businesses.

The panel members included Dr. Priyanca Mathur Velath, Associate Professor at the Centre for Research on Social Sciences and Education (CERSSE) Jain University; Mr. Mahadev Prakash, Senior Political Analyst & Psephologist, Mr. TM Veeraraghav, Journalist, Ex- Resident Editor at The Hindu, Prime time host at CNN IBN moderated by Mr. K Giriprakash, Chief of Bureau, The Hindu Business Line.
