IFCCI organized virtual session on the ocassion of Diwali for its members on 11th November 2020.

The session was commenced by Ms. Payal S. Kanwar, Director General, IFCCI, welcomed members, followed by remarks by Mr. Sumeet Anand, President, IFCCI. Ms. Babusha Verma, French Faculty, St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi, introduced the festival and described the cultural and mythological importance of the festival. She also highlighted how the festival is celebrated throughout the country and how the celebration has changed in course of time.

Other highlights were a recorded classical dance performance by Ms. Bipasha Talukdar, live singing performance by Ms. Shatakshi Bhargava and live culinary workshop by Chef Neeraj Tyagi, Director of Culinary for Pullman and Novotel who cooked delicious la crème brûlée.

The session ended with a fun tambola game and lucky draw organised for all the participants. The session was attended by over 45 members.

Ms Rishika Roy, Head- Committees and Events (North), hosted the session.
