Nagpur : Indo-French Investment Conclave
The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) in association with the Embassy of France in India organised one of the biggest Indo-French Investment Conclave on Friday, 2nd November 2018 in Nagpur.
The conclave took place in the presence of H.E. Mr. Alexandre Ziegler [Ambassador of France to India], Shri. Devendra Fadnavis [Chief Minister of Maharashtra], Shri. Nitin Gadkari [Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways - Government of India] and Shri. Chandrashekhar Bawankule [Energy Minister, Government of Maharashtra] where the ministers explained the growing status of Nagpur & Vidarbha region and also made an appeal to the participating delegation to invest in Nagpur.
The conclave opened many avenues for a multilateral trade partnership between India and France in the key areas of defence and aerospace, smart mobility and logistics and infrastructure. There was also a site visit to Mihan, where the delegation was given a brief on the SEZ and investment opportunities in Vidarbha.
The Indo-French Investment Conclave attracted a major delegation of 150+ company representatives that travelled to discover investment opportunities in Nagpur and a few companies signed MOU’s in the presence of the ministers.
