The CFO Committee of the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) organised a virtual session focused on the Top Geopolitical Trends in 2024 and its relevance for India (conflicts, elections, supply chain disruptions) on 16th July 2024.
Ms. Rishika Roy, Head - Committees & Partnerships, IFCCI extended a warm welcome and provided an overview of the IFCCI CFO Committee.
In his welcoming remarks, Mr. Rajat Roy, Exec Director & VP Finance, Accor Hotels India & South Asia and Chairperson, IFCCI CFO Committee underscored the previous initiatives of the CFO Committee and shared a brief outline about the topic and its key components.
The session was led by Mr. Scott Martin, Head of Geopolitical Risk for Europe and the Americas, HSBC, who shared his valuable insights and expert perspectives on the Top Geopolitical Trends in 2024 and their impact on India. Some of the highlights he mentioned included:

Mr. Amitabh Malhotra, MD & Head of Global Banking at HSBC also addressed the IFCCI CFO Committee emphasizing on the importance of the topic and HSBC's commitment to the Indo-French business landscape.
This was followed by an introductory and Q&A session, involving over 30 CFOs/Finance Heads from French and Indian member companies, including Latecoere, Keolis, Albea Group, Louis Dreyfus, JC Decaux, Sicame, Mane India, Orange Business, Idemia, Servier, Timac Agro, EDF India, Bollore, Teleperformance, Safran, Groupe SEB and Forecia.
