France Expresses Keenness In Partnering, Investing In Indian Startup Movement
France has expressed its keenness in partnering and investing in the Indian Startup movement to give a further impetus to French investments in India.
The Vice-president of French Parliament, Yves Jego said the economic relations between India-France has grown many folds with 26 percent increase in total trade in the past two years.
The current bilateral trade is around 14 Billion Dollars and France is looking at doubling the figure by 2022. The relation between India and France is on a full scale in the areas of science, arts and culture.
He said the Indo-French partnership is not only based on revenue alone while speaking at the Venture Capital Symposium in New Delhi.
The Venture Capital Symposium was organised by Niti Aayog to deepen the economic relationships between France and India following the visit of French president Emmanuel Macron in March 2018.
