IFCCI HR Committee organized a roundtable discussion on “DIVERSITY & INCLUSION AT THE WORKPLACE” on Friday, 8 February at Moet Hennessy India Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai. Mr. Prabir Jha, President & Global Chief People Officer, CIPLA was the speaker and he chaired the session which was attended by 20 HR professionals from leading French and Indian Companies.

The event started with a brief presentation from Mr. Karthik Ekambaram from AVATAR. Karthik’s presentation on Diversity and Inclusion at the workplace set the context for the interactive discussion that followed.

Some of the topics that Mr. Jha touched upon were:

1. Acknowledgement & recognition of a range of unconscious biases

2. Building a talent-centric culture to develop talent acquisition strategy

3. Evolving interventions that can produce industry leaders

4. Driving the fundamental skill to influence and chaperone an agenda

5. Challenge the conventional paradigms to move your business forward

The roundtable discussion was a very interactive session and engaging session in which the HR Heads shared their understanding of the subject and their challenges. Mr. Prabir Jha gracefully addressed all the questions and shared his insights and perspective. All the members thanked Mr. Jha for an insightful and informative session.

The event witnessed a full house and concluded with a networking lunch.
