Mumbai: First meeting - IFCCI Consumer Goods and Services Committee

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry Consumer Goods and Services Committee successfully conducted its first meeting on Tuesday, 27th March 2018 in Mumbai.

Speaking on the successful launch of the Committee, Mr. Stephane de Meurville, Managing Director, Moet Hennessy India  said "This first evening was perfect for launching the Consumer Goods and Services committee thanks to a great speaker Shripad Nadkarni and all the remarkable and estimated guests and a perfect organization from IFCCI »

We invited our guest speaker Mr. Shripad Nadkarni, Angel Investor, Mentor and Former Coca Cola Marketing Head and Founder of Fingerlix to speak on “Building Brands in India”. Shripad's spoke about the Indian consumption story and the profile of the Indian consumer and how it has changed from the past. He shared some interesting cases studies to explain how brands are building brands based on this understanding of the India consumer culture. The talk was followed by a very interactive and rich discussion between the audience and the speaker as well as within the whole group and it covered issues in relation to luxury brand building, evolution of retail, e-commerce and touched upon categories like liquor, beauty products and the services industry.
