The Energy & Utilities committee of IFCCI organized its first interaction with its committee members on 12th September 2022 in a virtual format.
Ms. Aarushi Gautam, Assistant Manager - Events & Membership (North), IFCCI welcomed the new leadership of the Committee, Chairperson Ms. Ahlem Friga-Noy, Country Chair India, Total Energies and Vice Chairpersons Mr. B. Sivakumar, CEO, Citelum India, and Mr. Dhananjay Kumar, Director Corporate Affairs, Engie India.
Mr. B. Sivakumar, CEO, Citelum India and Mr. Dhananjay Kumar, Director Corporate Affairs, Engie India talked about the huge scope of cooperation in the energy sector between India and France and presented their ideas and vision for the Committee for this year.
Mr. Himanshu Dewan, SPOC for the Committee moderated the interactive session with participants. Participants introduced themselves and shared a few interesting ideas:
- Importance of public policy advocacy in the energy sector and preparation of white paper comprising of issues raised by member companies in the industry to be presented to the govt.
- Ease of doing business and e-mobility
- Focus on areas such as green hydrogen and offshore wind energy
- Focus on sustainability & skilling
Ms. Aarushi Gautam thanked the Annual Patrons of the Committee, HSBC and Trilegal for their support and the members for joining the Meeting.
