Nicolas Simon, Country Head India at Amund Asset Management, has been deputed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of SBI Funds Management Private Limited since November 2015, contributing to the development of the 3rd largest asset management cie in India with an AUM of 62 bn Eur.
He is highly committed in promoting economic relations between India and France/Europe as Vice-President at IFCCI, President of the Council of European Chambers of Commerce in India, and CCEF (Conseiller du Commerce Exterieur de la France).
Prior to joining SBI FM, Nicolas has served as CEO of Amundi Real Estate (2006 - 2015), which under his tenure became market leader in France and expanded its presence in Europe and overseas. Previously, he was associated in senior management positions with Henderson Global Investors, Generali Insurance and CDR (Credit Lyonnais). He brings with him over 25 years of rich experience in Financial Services. He holds a post-graduation in Law from Paris Pantheon-Assas University and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Toulouse Business School.
