Delano Furtado is a Partner in the Corporate Practice Group at Trilegal and also serves as the head of the firm’s Mumbai offices as well as a member of the Board of Trilegal. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and disposals. Delano has extensive experience representing multinational corporations on their India entry and exit strategies, acquisitions, and joint venture transactions. He has a strong focus on strategic M&A with expertise in complex, cross-border deals and has advised Indian conglomerates in outbound acquisitions and investments across South Africa, Latin America, and Australia. His sectoral expertise spans Energy and Infrastructure, Automotive, Manufacturing, FMCG, Hospitality and Retail, IT-enabled services, Healthcare, and E-mobility. Delano also advises several large U.S. and French defense manufacturers on regulatory and transactional matters in India. His clients include major global corporations such as Total A.S., Saudi Aramco, Skoda Volkswagen India, Hyundai, Lockheed Martin Corporation, and Thales A.S.
